Structural design is not the process of assembling elements to satisfy code equations. It is the process of understanding how a structural system will behave throughout its service life, under everyday conditions as well as under rare but critical demands. Our work in structural design is guided by this understanding.

Our Approach
We design new buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities with careful attention to load paths, system behavior, constructability, and long-term performance. Each project is approached as a unique engineering problem, shaped by its geometry, materials, intended use, site conditions, and governing hazards. Rather than relying on default solutions, we seek structural systems that are appropriate to the specific context of each project.
Our design practice is grounded in performance-based principles and ductility. This allows us to move beyond minimum prescriptive requirements and explicitly consider how a structure is expected to perform under different levels of loading and uncertainty. Where appropriate, advanced analytical models are used to evaluate global and local behavior, identify critical response mechanisms, and support informed design decisions.
Codes and Standards
All design work is carried out in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including ACI 318, ASCE 7, Eurocode provisions, as well as local codes such as Turkish Building Seismic Code. At the same time, we recognize that codes are tools; not substitutes for engineering judgment.
Experience and Capabilities
Our experience spans a wide range of structural types, from conventional building systems to bridges, industrial structures, and special-purpose facilities. This breadth allows us to recognize both the limitations of common design assumptions and the opportunities for more efficient and robust solutions.
Design Process
Throughout the design process, we place strong emphasis on clarity, transparency, and traceability of decisions. Design assumptions, design criteria, modeling choices, and governing mechanisms are explicitly examined and documented, enabling meaningful review and informed coordination with project stakeholders.
In all cases, our objective is not simply to produce compliant designs, but to deliver structural systems whose behavior is understood, whose performance is predictable, and whose risks are consciously managed.
